The Opportunity This position is an onsite opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. We are helping people with Diabetes lead healthier, happier lives. Consistent and accurate glucose monitoring is the foundation of any diabetes management plan, so we're committed to continuous improvement in the way patients and professionals measure, track and analyze glucose levels. As a Financial Analyst, you will support Abbott Diabetes Care Global Third-Party Manufacturing (TPM) operations. This person will be reporting to the US TPM Controller and should be able to understand and apply complex concepts, identify risks, propose recommendations and solutions to issues, and implement solutions for problem resolution. What You'll Do Work closely with US TPM Operations and Engineering key business partners to prepare overhead expense forecasts, variance analysis, commentary and forecast submission. Conduct monthly review on overhead expenses with key business leaders to highlight performance, risks, and opportunities to ensure budgetary accountability and forecast accuracy. Support Gross Margin Initiatives (GMI) analysis and forecasting and ensure GMIs are accurately captured in LBEs. Support US TPM consolidation and variance analysis, commentary and Division submission, including P&L and Balance Sheet for month-end, quarterly business/finance reviews, and 5-year plans. Support ADC annual standard cost setting process, interacting with ADC manufacturing sites to prepare cost variance analysis, commentary, and standard cost submission. Drive cost savings, process efficiencies, and deliver key insights for US TPM business to the broader management team. Ad-hoc analysis and reporting Experience You Will Bring BS in Accounting / Finance required. Ability to plan, implement, and administer financial information and control systems. Knowledge of ERP systems and a high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint applications. SAP experience is ideal. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively interact with Senior Leadership for groups managed. Strong problem solving and data analytics skills is a must.
