Music Teacher
The Lake Shore Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for the following position: Music Teacher (K-12)- Instrumental/Band and/or Elementary General Music Position. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated K-12 Music Education Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will hold current certification in K-12 Music Education and demonstrate a proven ability to work effectively across diverse classroom and instrumental settings. A strong understanding of, and commitment to, the New York State Learning Standards for the Arts is essential. Certification: Music Salary: Per LSCTA Contract In addition to the WNYRIC application, applicants must also submit a Lake Shore CSD Professional Employment Application. If the employment application is too large to upload, it is suggested the application is saved as a reduced file prior to uploading it when you apply. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction in accordance with curriculum goals and NYS Standards Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials that foster creativity, skill development, and musical appreciation Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents Direct and support instrumental and/or vocal ensembles as assigned Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student growth Plan and direct performances, concerts, and other school music events Fulfill supervisory and instructional duties consistent with the role of a teacher Qualifications: Current New York State certification in K-12 Music Education Experience in both classroom and instrumental music instruction Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to inspire a love of music in students of all ages and abilities Contact Person's Name: Philip M.
