Business Analytics Senior Analyst
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Business Analytics Senior Analyst for its New York, NY location. Duties: Gather requirements to build data quality controls to check the completeness, validity, and accuracy of Critical Data Elements (CDEs) within Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) Contract and Collateral data. Review the accuracy of the requirements by checking the data lineage of CDEs and business logic and translate them for the Technology team. Design and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) using optimized SQL queries on large and complex CCR datasets for all use cases of the CDEs. Create Tableau dashboard reports to highlight the data quality issues based on daily and historical data quality trends. Perform root cause analysis on the data quality issues across multiple platforms using SQL, Tableau, and MS Excel to identify false positives and provide improved data quality requirements to Risk for approval. Leverage SQL and Python to build Proof of Concepts (PoCs) of data controls on attributes used for calculating key Risk Measures. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Information Management, Business Analytics or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related quantitative occupation performing data analysis. Two (2) years of experience must include: Performing statistical analysis utilizing SQL, Excel, and Python data tools; Creating data visualizations to highlight trends in historical datasets; Presenting insights and findings from the data analysis to senior stakeholders to help with decision making; Driving the development and enhancement of process documentation, quality control, business requirements documentation, and root-cause analysis; and Improving processes and controls by exploring and evaluating new data tools and capabilities for better customer/client experience.
