Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid-large-size projects. Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling. Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise. Leads technical business development work. Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. Approves and signs off on work. Leader in one or more areas of technology. Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large, complex projects. Manage the traffic engineering staff on a daily basis throughout California. Lead traffic engineering projects and traffic design tasks throughout California. Lead marketing and proposal efforts for traffic engineering projects. Be responsible for plan approvals for Caltrans and other major agencies. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to discuss projects with co-workers, clients, regulatory agency staff, AECOM staff, and the public in meetings and at public events as well as write concise and readable technical reports and documents. Supporting a wide range of traffic engineering projects for roadway, freeway, transit systems, managed lanes, bicycle and pedestrian facilities. Must be highly self-motivated with the ability to successfully multi-task, perform detail-oriented work, work independently, and demonstrate effective time management skills. Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered, apply innovative design solutions, implementing current technology to meet project design needs. Provides guidance, mentor and coach to engineers, or technicians, to learn and improve their technical skills. Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office programs and other relevant software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and preferable Project). Skilled in MicroStation and AutoCAD software. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: BS plus ten (10) years of relevant experience and demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. California PE or TE license. Preferred Qualifications: 12+ years of traffic engineering management experience. 6+ years of job-related experience in California. Highly self-motivated with the ability to successfully multi-task, perform detail-oriented work, work independently, demonstrate effective time management skills, and consistently deliver high quality deliverables. Additional Information

Sponsorship is not offered for this position. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $155,000.00 - $220,000.00. ReqID: J10134325
