Position Overview

The Principal AI Systems Engineer in Research and Development is member of the organization's Responsible AI Alliance (RAIA), responsible for maintaining a responsible AI program for the enterprise. The position will lead in the implementation and maintaining of AI-driven solutions to help the organization transform operations, enhance customer experiences and drive innovation. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, assessing AI use cases, implementation, management, and maintaining of AI Governance tool(s), reporting AI utilization to include KPI and KRIs, discovery and inventory of AI, AI education and evangelism, monitoring and measuring AI utilization, investigating and identifying new emerging AI technologies, guiding and supporting identification, implementation, development, management and/or use of AI solutions.

What You'll Do

Assessment, identification, testing, implementation, configuration and oversight of AI solutions.

Maintain and monitor AI soltions and utilization ensuring technologies perform as intended and securely.

Maintain a strong working relationship with Enterprise Architecture, IT Infrastructure, Information Security and Data Management to ensure that AI utilization aligns with current and existing infrastructure, architecture and processes.

Work with multiple business lines and departments to help establish solution requirements, understanding their business directives and initiatives.

Measure and report on AI utilization, creating and maintaining KPIs and KRIs

Implement, manage, maintain AI Governance tool(s)

AI education and evangelism

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

7-10 years of experience

Must have excellent organizational skills, an attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal and customer service skills

Ability to work in an environment where deadlines are critical

Experience providing coaching and technical guidance

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $117,000.00 - $158,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
