Job Title: CNC Machinist/Programmer
Responsible for all aspects of set-up and operation of CNC Machines and other machines as needed. Monitors machine, tooling, and cutting fluid levels. Reviews samples, drawings, or instructions to understand specifications of output. Takes measurements and marks material for cutting or shaping. Plans the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job. Monitors output to ensure consistency with specifications and discards defects. Ensures that the lubrication/coolant tanks are filled and chip buckets are emptied as necessary. Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment. Responsibilities

Experience with CNC Programming Proficiency in reading blueprints Ability to operate lathe, drill press, shear, grinding, mill, and other machining equipment Knowledge of CAD/CAM and GD&T Ability to use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other gages Intermediate to advanced level mathematics skills Ability to navigate basic technology including digital self-service platforms and time clocks Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Engine lathe(s), EDM, Drill Press(s), Shaper, Saw, Manual Bridge Port, CNC Lathes, Mills, and Boring Mill Experience with setups and programming at the machine and at a computer, including 3D printing Ability to read and write simple instructions Ability to effectively report relevant data and job-specific information Ability to regularly lift and move up to 40 lbs.
