The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join our Risk Advisory & Assurance Services team. As a key member of the team, you will perform risk-based audit and advisory engagements to evaluate compliance and provide actionable insights to the business. The position requires in-depth knowledge and experience in financial, operational, and/or IT audits. The position is based in San Jose, CA and reports to the Sr. Manager, Risk Advisory & Assurance Services. What You'll Do

Develop a detailed understanding of Adobe's core business and financial processes. Keep current knowledge of company strategies, priorities, and business objectives. Advise on business initiatives using data-based decision-making skills. Perform quality audits, advisory engagements, and other special projects to evaluate adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements and to assess the effectiveness of internal controls. Assist in the development of the audit program; perform audit test procedures; evaluate internal controls and processes; identify audit issues and exceptions. Prepare audit reports and communicate review results to management along with well-articulated, actionable insights and process improvement recommendations. Perform quarterly follow-up on outstanding management actions from past projects and ensure corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner. Mentor and provide guidance to junior or new team members. Build effective working relationships with various Finance, Accounting, IT & Operations groups (domestic and international). Work on internal projects to enhance systems and processes, deliver internal trainings, and drive other improvements within the organization. What You Need To Succeed

BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems Minimum 5 - 7 years of audit experience in an accounting firm or in an internal audit role at a large global public company, or a combination thereof. Software industry preferred. Professional certification (CPA, MBA, CIA, CMA, CISA, and/or CFE) preferred Proficiency of advanced audit concepts in finance, accounting, operations, and technology Strong analytical, project management and planning skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines Excellent interpersonal, oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to comfortably communicate to all levels of management and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and integrity in all interactions Self-starter with the ability to take direction, learn quickly, and work independently Ability to influence within own org and with key business partners and operate within an agile environment Familiarity with fundamental IT concepts/ IT general controls (logical and physical access, change control, application controls, etc.) Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) with a general understanding of data analysis techniques. Experience with SAP and Tableau a plus. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $73,200 -- $152,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
