Skilled Laborer / Millwright

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (Local candidates preferred) Pay: $20+/hour Travel: Required occasionally

$115/day per diem provided when traveling About the Role

Join a fast-growing company specializing in agricultural construction, deconstruction, and rigging. As a Skilled Laborer / Millwright, you'll work on dismantling and constructing grain equipment in processing plants, grain elevators, and conveyor systems. The role also includes custom fabrication and equipment installation. We're hiring for our Service Team, which focuses on local service for repeat customers and facilities with ongoing maintenance agreements. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment. Key Responsibilities

Assemble and erect steel structures for equipment installations Interpret shop drawings and perform non-critical welding Establish centerlines and elevations for machinery and equipment Execute complex rigging and precision installations Anchor, level, and align equipment and components Essential Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude Proficiency with hand and power tools Ability to read a tape measure accurately 1+ years of experience in mechanical or industrial roles Comfortable working at heights Preferred Qualifications

Millwright experience Background in construction, mechanical, or technician roles Rigging and industrial installation skills Welding experience (Stick, MIG, TIG) Blueprint reading and troubleshooting Fabrication, repair, and hydraulic systems knowledge Pipe fitting and preventive maintenance skills Why Join Us?
