The technologist needs to be able to perform ultrasound and vascular exams. The majority of the exams are general, OB, small parts, venous, arterial, arterial duplex, carotids, venous reflux/insufficiency exams, abdominal duplex, renal duplex, and pediatrics. The technologist needs to be confident in performing these exams independently. On weekends, the technologist will be the only one working the shift. Monday through Friday, there are variable start times (8 am, 10 am, 12 pm, or 1 pm). Every other weekend includes shifts on Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
