Senior Accountant
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a collaborative and fast-paced accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys contributing to both day-to-day operations and strategic financial initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Lead and support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP. Manage fixed asset and lease accounting processes, including classification, reconciliations, and reporting. Prepare and file monthly state tax reports and assist with annual tax data collection. Support internal and external audits through documentation gathering and reporting. Evaluate financial transactions for proper accounting treatment and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures. Drive process improvements across accounting functions, including automation, documentation, and system optimization. Lead or contribute to special projects, including system integrations and reporting enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Preferred Qualifications
Strong experience in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal controls. Experience with fixed asset, lease, and fringe accounting is a plus. Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred). Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is beneficial. Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with financial data and reporting tools. Soft Skills
Strong ownership mentality with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, reliable, and team-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $52.88/hr.
