shift / Mon-Thur / 7am - 5pm $18-25/hour (Based on experience) Greenville, SC PrideStaff Greenville is seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Technician on behalf of our client in the Welcome / Judson area of Greenville, SC. The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition. You will work on a variety of vehicles and damage types, from minor dents and scratches to major collision repair. Auto Body Technician Responsibilities Include:
Perform a thorough assessment of vehicle damage and create a detailed repair plan. Straighten and repair damaged vehicle bodies, panels, and frames using various tools and techniques. Remove, replace, and install damaged parts, including fenders, bumpers, doors, and hoods. Perform body filler work, sanding, and preparation for painting. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and industry standards. Collaborate with other technicians, painters, and estimators to ensure a smooth repair process. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols. Continuously stay up-to-date with new repair techniques and vehicle technologies through training and certifications. Auto Body Technician Requirements Include:
3 years or more of proven experience as an Auto Body Technician. Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques, tools, and equipment. Proficiency in frame straightening, welding, and body filler application. Possess a comprehensive set of personal tools required for the job. I-CAR and/or ASE certifications are highly preferred. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
