Temporary Accounts Payable Associate
Our client, a dynamic organization in the financial services sector, is seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Associate to join their team. As a Temporary Accounts Payable Associate, you will be part of the finance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Temporary Accounts Payable Associate Location: Marquette, MI Pay Range: $20.00 to $24.00 per Hour Shift: Full time, M-F day shift with 30 minute lunch. What's the Job? Receives, verifies, and processes invoices for payment in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with company policy. Analyzes and resolves invoice/statement discrepancies with vendors while maintaining positive vendor relationships through responsiveness to their inquiries. Assists in the process and maintenance of all accounts payable records by indexing and archiving. Contacts other departments and outside agencies to resolve problems. Assists with customer service-related activities such as order intake and resolving various issues with B2B customers. What's Needed? High School Diploma required. Demonstrated proficiency in Excel or similar spreadsheet software. Prior experience with SAP, QuickBooks, or similar Accounting/ERP software. 2 to 3 years of accounts payable experience preferred.
