Serco supports the US Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) as a Prime contractor on Navy facilities for their Electronic Security Systems (ESS) contract maintaining their Munition Centers (NMC) as well as upgrading and maintaining their Emergency Operations Centers (EOC) Audio / Video Systems. Our team upgrades, maintains and manages installations for Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Access Control Systems (ACS), Closed Circuit Television Systems (CCTV) and video Briefing Display Systems (BDS). You will be part of a team of programmers, technicians and Installers that work closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems. The team has been recognized by the Naval Information Warfare Center and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program. This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain/maintain/transfer your Secret clearance. In this role, you will: Code, design and implement Audio / Video Configurations for small to large scale systems. Troubleshooting network or low voltage systems with a variety of testing tools (Fiber tester, Network tester, multi-meter, sound meter). Contribute to all phases of the installation and development lifecycle. Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, debugging activities and maintenance. Instruct other team members while continuing with existing job functions. Track daily work efforts, documenting and presenting to manager. Use a computer to troubleshoot and or manipulate electronic components including Cameras and system control panels. Design, implement and install Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). Design, implement and install Access control systems (ACS). Design, implement and install Closed circuit Television systems (CCTV). To be successful in this role, you will have: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance U.S Citizenship required A Bachelors degree Or a High School Diploma/GED with minimum 6 years of experience in Intrusion detection systems, Access Control systems, CCTV systems and/or Audio/Video systems Minimum 2 years of experience in Intrusion detection systems, Access Control systems, CCTV systems and/or Audio/Video systems Experience maintaining Windows based servers and networks Experience in consulting directly with customers Experience in programming for Audio Video Systems Experience terminating RJ-45 Male, RJ-45 Female, Coax connectors and low voltage connections Experience reading schematics and/or blueprints Ability to travel up to 75%+ (CONUS & OCONUS) Valid U.S Passport & Drivers License required Additional desired experience and skills: Knowledge or experience of Extron Audio/Video systems and configuration. In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $63,881.84 to $106,470.54; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
