We're expanding our engineering team with a key hire: a senior software engineer. You'll join a fast-paced environment focused on solving complex challenges across the logistics stack (WMS, OMS, TMS, LMS) and building scalable, maintainable solutions in a cloud-native environment. Your impact will touch e-commerce, fulfillment, carrier systems, and beyond

with a growing emphasis on using AI agents to supercharge development workflows. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Build and maintain end-to-end logistics integrations (e.g., WMS like Manhattan Active, OMS, TMS). Develop and support direct integrations with platforms like Shopify and indirect integrations via IPAAS. Evolve our WMS framework, working across systems that include our own in-house WMS and external partners. Enhance postage and carrier integrations, support custom rate cards, reconciliation, and exception handling. Work with QA/Infrastructure to define CI/CD pipelines, health checks, build automation, and observability tooling. Design scalable, event-driven systems that handle warehouse events, orders, inventory updates, etc. Use AI coding agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Codex) for rapid iteration and prototyping. Participate in architecture reviews, security discussions, and backlog planning. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Strong Python and Django development experience. Practical experience with PostgreSQL, including performance optimization and data modeling. Comfortable with AWS (EKS/Kubernetes, CloudFront, S3, Lambda, etc.). Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (especially Shopify) and logistics domains (WMS/OMS/TMS/LMS). Integration experience using REST, webhooks, OAuth2, and event queues (e.g., Google Pub/Sub, SQS). Version control, CI/CD practices, and automated testing (e.g., GitHub Actions, pytest). Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, operations, CS, infra). Own system architecture across multiple domains. Drive code quality, observability, and documentation standards. Mentor junior developers and help structure technical onboarding. Lead project planning with stakeholders. Evaluate new technologies, AI workflows, tooling (e.g. linting bots, codegen tools, performance profilers). PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Experience with IPAAS tools (e.g., Alloy, Dropstream, Pipe17). Understanding of physical logistics processes like receiving, picking, batching, packaging, shipping. Familiarity with Manhattan Active APIs or pub-sub architectures. Experience with frontend technologies (React) and multi-tenant environments. PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS: Travel in a car and an airplane 15% of the time. Ability to sit for extended periods within an office environment. Ability to use hands and fingers for computer keyboarding, and answer phone calls.
