Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated Registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our call-center team. In this role, you will manage a high volume of inbound calls, handle prescription-related tasks, and ensure patient confidentiality.ResponsibilitiesReceive, review, and verify patients' prescriptions.Prepare and scan documents, and verify patient data.Submit prescription orders into the pharmacy data system.Verify HIPAA information and maintain confidentiality during patient and provider interactions.Engage in active listening with callers to confirm or clarify information, and diffuse upset patients or providers as needed.Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy teams to meet patient and provider needs promptly.Coordinate with call center Hub programs as applicable.Enter and prioritize prescription orders based on urgency through the pharmacy processing system.Maintain professionalism and document within processing systems as per policies and procedures.Efficiently enter data and information into the pharmacy processing system.Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.Essential SkillsStrong data entry skills.Must hold a Florida Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacy Technician license.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong computer skills.Excellent customer service abilities.Knowledge of prescriptions, dosing, and dosage.Additional Skills & Qualifications1-2 years of retail pharmacy work experience.Experience with non-commercial pharmacy.Strong time management and organizational skills.Adaptability and flexibility.Efficient typing skills.High School Diploma or GED.Proficiency in using email programs and instant messaging communications.Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced environment with attention to detail.Ability to solve routine problems independently.Ability to multitask and handle multiple requests simultaneously.Comfortable sitting, standing, and using computer screens for extended periods.Ability to navigate between multiple computer programs with dexterity.Work EnvironmentThis position is onsite in Lake Mary, FL. Technicians will be provided with equipment, including a laptop and headset. The role requires working Monday through Friday with shifts potentially falling between 8am-8pm EST. The typical schedule is a closing shift from 11:30am-8pm, with the possibility of weekend shifts from 6am-2pm. Lunch breaks are 30 minutes, with two additional 15-minute breaks. These breaks are scheduled and are not flexible. The work environment is fast-paced and detail-oriented.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
