Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Production Assembler - 2nd Shift. We are a leader in the design and production of critical power distribution products for many specific segments. The Production Assembler- 2nd Shift role offers a full time work week of 40 hours and potential overtime. Hours: 1:45pm-10:15pm. Full Benefits and 401k plan is offered to you day one of employment. The hourly rate for this position is $23.40 per hour. $1.00 shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: The Assembler will timely and accurately build sub-assemblies and assemblies to customer specifications involving complex and repetitive wiring and mechanics for Power Distribution Units (PDU), and Transformers. In this function you will: Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to build sub-assemblies and assemblies Use cranes to pick up, and move transformers and materials Be responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly Use various fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product Perform point to point wiring during the assembling of Power Distribution Units Work with sheetmetal to build transformer legs and additional components related to transformer assembly Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and making necessary adjustments when required in order to meet quality goals Adhere to company, environmental, health, safety rules and regulations Provide process and safety improvement ideas Ensure machines and tools are properly calibrated and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S+
