The Senior Project & Facilities Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating projects related to the design, construction, maintenance, and improvement of hospital buildings and facilities. This role ensures that project timelines, costs, and contract requirements are adhered to while facilitating effective communication and collaboration between departments. The coordinator also manages vendor relationships, oversees maintenance schedules, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities

Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects. Collaborate with hospital departments to review design changes, equipment specifications, and purchasing procedures. Support project managers in tracking project progress, timelines, and budgets. Develop and maintain project documentation, including feasibility studies and status reports. Manage vendor contracts and relationships to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with contract terms. Coordinate maintenance activities, including scheduling preventative maintenance and tracking work orders. Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance across facilities. Monitor and report on facility conditions and recommend improvements. Facilitate communication between internal teams and external contractors or service providers. Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence related to projects and facilities. Maintain accurate records of project and facilities activities. Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or coursework with significant relevant work experience in project coordination or facilities management, a plus. 5+ years of experience in project coordination, facilities management, healthcare, or related field. Ability to travel as required. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Physical Demands

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
