4:00 PM Job Summary:
The Tissue Culture Technician is responsible for the care, cultivation, and maintenance of cannabis tissue cultures in a sterile lab environment. This role ensures all practices align with company SOPs and standards while contributing to research and development initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Trim and transfer plants from old media to fresh media.
Perform plant care tasks such as tucking and structural manipulation.
Sanitize and maintain the tissue culture room and tools.
Apply nutrients and pesticides according to SOPs.
Track and maintain plant, equipment, and nutrient inventory.
Assist with R&D projects as assigned.
Follow all company procedures and complete other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Must be
21 years or older .
High school diploma or GED required.
1+ year of experience
in a processing or production environment.
Proficient in
Microsoft Word and Excel .
Able to sit/stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Must be able to lift up to
25 lbs
and differentiate colors (no color blindness).
Work Environment:
Moderate to loud noise exposure.
Occasional exposure to dust, vapors, or fumes.
Some potential for minor workplace hazards.
