Reporting to the Mid-Atlantic Director of Operations, the Office Administrator responsibilities include working closely with the Solutions and Service departments. The Office Administrator will perform general administrative and office support tasks. Ultimately, the Office Administrator is crucial for efficient operation of the organization and is a vital role in supporting various departments. Essential Functions: An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. General administrative and office support for the Solutions and Service departments. Effectively communicate and document workflows. Assists Procurement with order intake, data entry and order submissions. Receive incoming
supplier/subcontractor
invoices, verify accuracy and readiness to pay with Project Managers, and assist accounting team with processing for payment. Interpret requirements and secure bonding for projects as requested. Acquire certificates of insurance for projects. Enter Prevailing Wage amounts in applicable ERP System and send reports received from payroll department. Support a performance-based culture, both team and individual, to assure continuous improvement and alignment with enterprise vision, mission, and objectives. This position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and or as necessary. Typical working hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is considered an in-office position based in Gambrills, MD. Requirements Associates degree, including college courses in accounting or business preferred. Experience working within the construction industry may be substituted. 1-3 Years relevant work experience with provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for the job. Working knowledge of basic accounting functions (AP, Percentage of Completion method) and ability to coordinate with multiple internal departments (Operations, Service and Accounting) Displays strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills Ability to work independently, take initiative, manage priorities, and see tasks through to completion Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Operational familiarity of Microsoft AX or equivalent is preferred. Pay Rate:
$19-$26/hr. DOE.
