Res. Habilitation Supervisor

Provide leadership and oversight to program, ensuring compliance with regulatory and agency policies and procedures. Conduct weekly site visits. Participate in Life Plan meetings; develop Staff Action Plans (SAPs) for implementation. Establish and maintain positive relationships with individuals supported. Ensure comprehensive, accurate, and timely billing in accordance with agency guidelines and OPWDD regulations. Ensure completion of daily billing, monthly progress reports, and attendance. Maintain individual's books in accordance with regulations and agency requirements. Develop weekly and monthly calendars of activities and events. Provide supervision to Day Habilitation Specialists; complete annual evaluations. Ensure staff compliance with training and certifications, including SCIP-R, CPR, First Aid, AMAP (as needed) and LMS training. Maintain relationships and communication with families and residences. Monitor the finances of the programs within regulatory and agency policies and procedures in collaboration with the Assistant Director. Collaborate with program management and Human Resources to manage the candidate selection workflow process. Interview and hire staff in collaboration with program leadership; ensure completion of evaluations within agency guidelines. Collaborate in identifying potential candidates for admission, screening, and placement of individuals. Participate in workgroups and committees within the agency as well as within the wider provider networks. Work collaboratively with other Day Habilitation partners. Ensure maintenance of up-to-date confidential resident files, personnel files, and regulatory documentation. Ensure maintenance of physical plant in collaboration with the Building Manager. Ensure reporting of all incidents, utilizing the chain of command; ensure notification to oversight agencies as per policy and procedure. Monitor payroll; ensure staff compliance with attendance requirements. Maintain certification in SCIP-R, CPR, First Aid, AMAP. Participate in development of the Electronic Health Record (Evolv). Perform all other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director and/or Vice President. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Strong management, organizational, and interpersonal skills Good oral and written communication skills Minimum of 1 year of experience in programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities Computer literate. Has a valid NYS Driver's License In addition, must possess the following characteristics: Is a team player. Has a strong sensitivity to cultural differences present among staff and individuals within the organization. Possesses a strong belief in people's ability to grow and change; forges a mutually respectful partnership with persons served and their families.
