Program Coordinator
to lead our residential and social rehabilitation program at Mountain House in Santa Barbara, CA. In this role, you will oversee a team of residential counselors who provide treatment and support to clients with mild to severe mental health symptoms, including bipolar illness, depression, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and anxiety. We are looking for someone with mature judgement, a supportive attitude, and a client-centered focus. We offer supervision hours for Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFT). Supervise and mentor the team at Mountain House, including hiring, training, assigning duties, and performance evaluation. Facilitate weekly staff meetings. Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Coordinate client care with the treatment team. Facilitate service planning and assist and advise staff with developing, updating and implementing action plans. Monitor residents' charts and documentation, ensuring that they are up-to-date and providing timely feedback to staff. Complete Medi-Cal documentation. Help facilitate discharge planning for residents moving out, in collaboration with the resident, counselor, case manager and other healthcare and housing providers. Maintain medications for the house by supervising inventory and storage. Ensure that medications are ordered in a timely manner, monitor weekly medication counts and quarterly disposal. Develop, update and implement activity schedules for the residents of Phoenix House. Review and approve operating expenses within the program's budget. Provide direct coverage/support to clients as needed, including in crisis situations. Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a Psychology or a related field required; Master's degree preferred. Knowledge of laws & regulations for licensed adult facilities Teamwork - able to balance team & individual responsibilities Client centered focus, professionalism, judgement, excellent written & oral communication, planning & organizing. Two (2) years of experience working with individuals with mental illness. Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role. Must be legally able to bill Medi-Cal. Valid California Driver's License, a satisfactory driving record with at least 5 years of driving history, and regular use of a vehicle are all required. Must receive a criminal record clearance through the DOJ and pass pre-employment health and TB screenings. Compensation and Benefit Package:
$34.00-$38.00/hour.
