Commercial Operations Analyst
The candidate must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, big picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. The Commercial Operations Analyst will operate with a high level of autonomy on projects while maintaining excellent communications on status and progress to department and division leadership. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Partner with sales team to fulfill quote requests and process orders as established by department policies and procedures within a timely manner Perform weekly and monthly audits of key data points to ensure data integrity Work closely with the other departments (i.e. finance, contracts, sales) within Data Innovations to develop services, continuously improve the quote to cash process, and resolve any disputed order items Serve as Salesforce Subject Matter Expert by understanding all aspects of Salesforce.com configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including: all changes and potential system implications related to Salesforce release upgrades perform system testing to ensure Sales enablement tools and new enhancements are performing properly Improve user experience and utilization by engaging the teams that we support to uncover training opportunities or areas of improvement with our systems and processes. Support the standardization and implementation of channel processes, policies, and procedures. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies Other duties as assigned Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Sales and/or commercial operations experience Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Salesforce experience Strong attention to detail Ability to be self-motivated and manage multiple priorities/projects Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams Must comply with and pass initial background check and drug screening, as well as subsequent background checks, drug screenings and vaccine requirements as required by customer contracts. Ability to follow DI's policies and procedures and system usage practices Must comply with Company vaccination policy Education and/or Experience: Bachelors Degree and at least 2 years relevant working experience in sales or commercial operations -OR- Associates Degree and at least 4 years relevant working experience in sales or commercial operations -OR- At least 6 years relevant working experience in commercial operations Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is predominately functioning in a sedentary light office position with high frequency of telephone communication, keyboarding, and computer.
