Job Description We're hiring a Full-Time Talent Acquisition Specialist in Greenfield, IN! ***This is a hybrid role, with the expectation for some in-office work at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, IN*** The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a highly organized and proactive individual that supports our recruitment efforts by sourcing top talent and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. This dual role position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for connecting with people, and pays close attention to detail. QUALIFICATIONS : JOB SPECIFIC CORE COMPETENCIES · Customer Service – Ability to anticipate needs of others by using AIDETP · Communication - Ability to communicate effectively using outlook, phones and other avenues of media. · Policies – Ability to assist others in locating and interpreting HR Policies

Recruiting & Sourcing · Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and candidate profiles. · Source active and passive candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and other channels. · Screen and qualify candidates through resume reviews and initial phone interviews. · Maintain and update applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and communication. · Schedule interviews, manage candidate logistics, and ensure a positive candidate experience. · Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for frequently hired roles. · Track sourcing metrics and recommend improvements for sourcing strategies. · Analysis of market trends and other insights that will improve sourcing strategies. Onboarding Coordination · Coordinate pre-boarding and onboarding activities for new hires. · Send offer letters, manage background checks, and collect new hire documents. · Serve as a point of contact for new hires during onboarding. · Coordinate with IT, Occupational Health, and hiring managers to ensure smooth Day 1 readiness. · Assist with orientation sessions and ensure compliance with onboarding checklists. · Maintain accurate onboarding records and support HR documentation processes SKILLS: Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:

None ADDITIONAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : · Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). · Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus. · 1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, sourcing, or HR support. · Familiarity with ATS platforms (e.g., UKG, Workday) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter). · Excellent organizational and time-management skills. · Strong written and verbal communication abilities. · Customer-focused mindset with a positive, team-oriented attitude. · Experience in a high-growth or fast-paced environment. · Experience with onboarding software and HRIS platforms. · Knowledge of employment laws and hiring compliance best practices. · Mandatory Continuing Education: Customer Service, Fire and Safety, Corporate Compliance (including Confidentiality), Infection Control, and education required by regulatory, accreditation bodies, scope of practice, and/or Hancock Regional Hospital. · Mandatory Continuing Education: Customer Service, Fire and Safety, Corporate Compliance (including Confidentiality), Infection Control, and education required by regulatory, accreditation bodies, scope of practice, and/or Hancock Regional Hospital.
