Welder - 2nd Shift
Location: Saint Michael, MN Job Type: Contract-to-Hire About the Role
We're looking for skilled welders to join our growing team on 2nd shift. Our company specializes in custom metal fabrication for major clients, producing items like display shelves and drive-through communication boxes. This role involves both TIG (65%) and MIG (35%) welding on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. While not fully custom, projects vary and offer a dynamic work experience. Key Responsibilities
Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals (mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel) Read and interpret blueprints to complete welding tasks Use hand and power tools for fabrication and sheet metal work Measure, cut, and prepare sheet metal to specifications Skills & Experience
Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques Ability to read and work from blueprints Experience with hand and power tools Competence in measuring and cutting sheet metal Minimum 6 months of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications:
Technical degree or certification in welding or fabrication Experience operating fabrication machinery and equipment Why Join Us?

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
