We are the AI Search & Workflows Quality Engineers at ServiceNow we are involved to ensure the quality of the AI-powered search and workflow automation features within the Now Platform. This includes verifying that AI Search provides relevant, accurate, and personalized search results across various data sources, and that AI-driven workflows function as expected. QE (Quality Engineering) teams test these features to identify and resolve issues, ensuring a smooth and effective user experience. What you get in this role: Maintain and enhance existing automation test frameworks to ensure ongoing reliability and efficiency Collect, analyze, and report on quality metrics from test execution to drive continuous improvement Collaborate closely with developers to design targeted testing strategies for new features and automate them effectively Develop comprehensive test plans and execute them with a focus on robust automation Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues across applications and development/test environments Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have: Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry. 2+ years of experience with technologies relevant to SN and coding skills with high-quality results. Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience. Hands on experience with Generative AI (GenAI) tools, frameworks, or platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, etc. Experience working within different automated testing frameworks, including Java, JUnit, Selenium, TestNG and other open-source projects. Experience with the agile methodology for software development teams. Ability to understand several testing techniques (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect - including tracking and addressing of any discovered issues. Ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily tasks. For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $95,900 - $148,700, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
