Lexington, Kentucky CHI Saint Joseph East The posted compensation range of $37.20 - $37.20 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. This position is accountable for the daily patient care operations of the assigned department, working under the direction of the Nurse Manager on assigned shifts. Responsible for daily patient care assignments, maintaining clinical standards of care, maintaining labor productivity and supervision of the patient care environment; supporting the care team. Supports the activities of the Nurse Manager. Maintains positive inter- and intra-departmental relationships. Directs patient throughput activities in the assigned unit. Maintains evidence-based nursing practices to achieve desirable patient outcomes in accordance with the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act. Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program Active Registered Nurse Licensure in Kentucky (KY) or eNLC licensure with multistate privileges in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) As our Womens Care / Mother Baby Nurse at CHI Saint Joseph Health, you'll care for the newly delivered Mother and Newborn with gentle, kind, compassionate care in a family friendly environment focusing on the safety of both mom and baby. Key Responsibilities: Educate patients on various interventions or procedures Assess newborn and provide care Communicate with the care management team, including anesthesiologist, physician or midwife, lactation nurse, charge nurse, postpartum unit, patient and family We're offering a $25,000 sign on bonus AND up to $24,000 in outstanding student loan pay off for new hires that meet eligibility requirements.
