Responsibilities As our Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse at Chandler Regional Medical Center you'll put your nursing skills and knowledge to the test as you closely monitor your patients' vitals like blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rhythms, and respiration. You'll also put patients and their loved ones at ease by explaining test results in a way they can understand and make significant healthcare decisions. Each day you'll serve as a key member of our nursing team by working with our doctors and other clinical specialists to closely observe patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. You'll build trust in these interactions by learning new concepts and applying what you know in real-time to provide solutions for real people. Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to provide great care, learn new things, and ability to communicate effectively with peers, patients, and patients' loved ones. Responsibilities Track routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse ox levels Quickly report and address any changes in condition Patiently and thoroughly explain tests results and procedures to patients and family members Educate patients on post-hospital care, including prescribed medicine, care maintenance, and prevention Qualifications ADN, Diploma, BSN or Foreign Equivalent Current AZ State RN License in good standing Current American Heart Association BLS American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire Overview For more than 50 years, Dignity Health's Chandler Regional Medical Center has focused on quality patient care and service to the community. As the longest established hospital in the southeast valley, Chandler Regional has provided care for the Chandler community since 1961. The hospital recently added a new five-story tower with 96 patient beds, increasing the acute-care bed count to 338. This expansion increased emergency and trauma services, as well as the surgical unit and intensive care offerings.
