Production Worker

As a Production Worker, you will assist the Tuber Operator and Tuber Operator Trainee with the overall tuber operation. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of the production process by ensuring that all components and parts are set up correctly and in a timely manner. Responsibilities

Assist the Tuber Operator and Tuber Operator Trainee with overall tuber operation. Verify each scheduled production order with the Tuber Operator prior to starting set-up. Check receipt of components against order requirements. Assist with the removal and return of tuber parts, accessories, and components not needed for the current order run. Assist with all tuber set-ups and adjustments as required. Help with shafting each roll in its proper position as a ply on the finished tube. Segregate scrap and waste by container for disposal. Prepare for the next scheduled order. Maintain cleanliness of tuber and adjacent area. Stack tubes on pallets uniformly consistent with machine speed. Assist with other tuber job duties to assure optimum operation efficiency. Inform Operator of any substandard materials or mechanical or electrical repairs needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills

Experience in production, general labor, general production, packing, and inspection. Machine operation experience is preferred. Candidates must be open to switching shifts from 1st to 2nd or 3rd shift when necessary. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must complete Safety Orientation, Departmental Safety Training, and OSHA Standards Training. Good time management skills. Dependable and punctual. Ability to follow instructions and requests from supervisors and management. Proactive in seeking information on orders and job duties. Effective communication skills with other forklift operators during shift changes. Why Work Here?

When hired on, go to $18.75/hour, and receive a shift differential $1 for hours worked 7pm to 11pm and $1.50 for hours worked 11pm to 7am. At 90 days, go to $20.55/hour plus shift differential. We are looking for candidates who have some type of experience working in a manufacturing facility Work Environment

The work environment is not climate-controlled, but it features huge fans and industrial fans at all stations. You will rotate spots on the machines to break up the day. Be prepared for a hot environment. PPE, including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hair/beard nets, and earplugs, is required and provided. Casual attire such as t-shirts and shorts is acceptable, but avoid baggy clothing or hoodies with strings. Shift times include 3rd: 11pm

7am (start Sunday night), 1st: 7am

3pm, 2nd: 3pm

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Missouri. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
