The Community Hospice and Eddy Visiting Nurse & Rehab Association are seeking a qualified candidate for a dual-role position: Accounts Receivable Representative / Administrative Coordinator
Authorizations. This unique opportunity involves responsibilities across both organizations: For The Community Hospice: Billing commercial insurance payers (local and national) Obtaining service authorizations Reviewing and submitting electronic claims Reviewing cash postings Following up on denials and outstanding claims For Eddy Visiting Nurse & Rehab Association: Requesting authorizations for new and existing patients Collaborating with field clinical staff via email and phone to support the authorization process The ideal candidate will possess: Strong organizational and communication skills Attention to detail A proactive approach to problem-solving A desire to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment Full orientation is provided. Apply today for more information. Requirements: Ideal candidate should be very organized, patient, flexible and able to adapt well to changes. Previous billing experience is required. High School Diploma required along with 2-3 years of experience in a billing position or a health care position. Pay range: $18.50-$24.66 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
