Come join our team! East Coast Lumber is seeking
Kitchen and Bath Consultants for
full-time positions.
About Us : East Coast Lumber is a full-service professional lumber yard and building supply company located in East Hampstead, NH that has been family owned and operated since 1976. By supplying local builders, remodelers, and homeowners with all their building needs, we have become a preferred supplier of lumber and building materials, kitchen & bath products, builder's hardware, millwork, and equipment sales, rentals, and service.
General Requirements:
•The primary responsibility is to meet with homeowners and contractors; listen and understand their needs and recommend the best solution for their home project. We want to offer all our clientele the "experience," helping them put together design and colors from floor to ceiling in whatever area of the home they are looking to remodel.
•Follow up on all new and existing leads.
•Answer all incoming calls promptly and professionally.
•Handle client inquiries and complaints with the utmost professionalism; work with management on any situation that may arise on a project.
•Input and maintain all data related to leads and scheduling in our "Point of Sale" system as well as on our department lead sheet.
•Conduct regular follow-up with all prospects who either have not had an estimate scheduled or have not yet purchased.
•Show product features, advantages, and benefits. Be sure to show all options to fit the client's needs, wants, and budget.
•Preferred experience in reading home blueprints and a tape measure to do on site field measures; again, willing to train the right person.
•Work in a positive "team player" atmosphere with co-workers.
•20/20 CAD design program experience preferred; but willing to train the right person.
•Must be comfortable on a computer and working independently with clients.
•Meticulous attention to detail, can multitask and work independently, motivated personality.
•Sales experience preferable but willing to train the right candidate who is self-motivated and has the drive to sell.
We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
