POSITION SUMMARY:
This position represents, promotes, and gains the release of all RH Sheppard product lines at the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) in a defined territory. Additionally, the role will provide product and technical training as determined by rules of engagement for OEM sales and service. The OEM Account Manager has a strategic role in the marketplace, representing all RH Sheppard product lines. The role requires a high technical aptitude and business acumen in the commercial vehicle industry. This role is responsible for maintaining the CRM system, meeting assigned internal tasks on time, and supporting RH Sheppard industry activities as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Responsible for all strategic OEM customer activity in a defined territory. This role will work jointly and in partnership with the Territory Account Managers. With a key focus on delivering sales through the OEM dealer channel. Assist in identifying and providing OEM orders and build intelligence to leadership and Territory Account Managers to pull through fleet spec and aftermarket business. Achieve key performance objectives within the appropriate timeframe outlined on personal performance targets and the organization's overall sales targets. Requires 60-70% travel to customer locations, regional meetings, and industry events. Lead sales calls at OEM customer levels to promote/sell RH Sheppard product lines. Assist in promotions with RH Sheppard dealers to help promote/sell our product lines to the fleet customer. Consistently call on OEM customers to promote RH Sheppard quality & brand equity. At OEM events, generate interest among fleet customers in purchasing and specifying RH Sheppard products and systems. Continually review current OEM release of RH Sheppard products and opportunities. Create business plans with OEMs annually to target specific growth areas. Assist and execute internal business plans to drive growth initiatives. Assist TAMs in providing product sales & technical training to dealers and fleet customers. Responsible for updating all customers reporting requirements in the management tool (CRM) Establishes strong and effective working relationships that maintain a positive work environment. Promotes and drives the organization's vision. Ensures compliance with all company procedures and policies; addresses issues and lack of compliance through coaching and feedback and escalates as necessary. Understands and adheres to current company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, including ISO14001. Is empowered to identify, stop, and communicate or escalate appropriate action regarding safety, health, and environmental concerns. Understands and adheres to current company quality policies and procedures, including IATF16949. Is empowered to identify, stop, and communicate or escalate appropriate action regarding product quality. Performs other duties as assigned, including coverage online and in other departments/shifts as required.
KNOWLEDGE : General Knowledge of the heavy truck industry, Fleet, OEMs, dealerships, suppliers, distribution channels, and trade associations. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of organizational sales policies and procedures. Working knowledge of RH Sheppard products and their functionality is a plus. A Basic knowledge of RH Sheppard's customer base, business, and operations is a plus. Knowledge of a customer reporting management tool a plus

Requirements
EXPERIENCE : A minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience within the heavy-duty/automotive industry experience required. ASE Certified desired but not required.
QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's degree in either Marketing, Business, or engineering/technical degree and OR 5+ years of experience in the commercial vehicle industry or related field with a proven successful track record. MBA a plus
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS : Individuals must be domiciled in the defined territory and located within one hour of the major airport. Must be capable of traveling 60-70% of the time to OEM customers, dealerships, RH Sheppard's HQs, and trade associations.
Salary Description
$90,000-$150,000, plus competitive bonus plan
