Wood Shop Laborer
We are seeking a Wood Shop Laborer who can read blueprints to accurately pull and cut products. The role involves measuring wood to match blueprints, crafting frames for concrete bed wall panels, and preparing concrete beds for laying precast concrete. This position requires the use of various power tools and maintaining the wood shop inventory for current and future projects. Responsibilities
Read blueprints to pull and cut products accurately. Measure wood to match blueprints and create frames for concrete bed wall panels. Prepare and assist in prepping concrete beds for laying precast concrete. Use tape measures to ensure frames are correctly placed before pouring concrete. Collaborate with team members to clean the concrete bed. Utilize power tools such as saws, grinders, wrenches, tweezers, and pliers to complete tasks. Conduct inventory checks in the wood shop to ensure sufficient product availability. Essential Skills
1-2 years of experience in drywall, framing, construction, carpentry, or remodeling. Ability to read work orders and use a tape measure effectively. Proficient in operating power tools such as drills, screw guns, table saws, and hand saws. Physical ability to stand for 10 hours a day and lift up to 50 pounds. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in general production, landscaping, or as a grinder, sander, saw operator, framer, carpenter, or drywall worker is beneficial. Why Work Here?

The work begins at 6am and typically lasts 9 to 10 hours, with the usual end time around 2:30pm, though some days may extend to 5:30pm or later. The environment is dirty and dusty due to the dirt-based yard, with some tasks occurring outside, exposed to weather elements. Candidates must be comfortable with construction talk, high-performance metrics, and working in various weather conditions year-round in a large plant with experienced and generational employees.
