QA Technician
The QA Technician will be responsible for testing raw ingredients, in-process, and finished products at the facility. The role involves working with general lab instrumentation and conducting wet chemistry analyses. You will perform tests for pH, solids, fats, and moisture, and be responsible for wastewater analysis and general wet chemistry. Additionally, you may engage in microbiological sample testing. Conduct testing of raw ingredients, in-process, and finished products. Utilize general lab instrumentation for analysis. Perform wet chemistry tests including pH, solids, fats, and moisture analysis. Conduct wastewater analysis. Engage in microbiological sample testing as required. Essential Skills
0-2 years of experience in a Food Manufacturing laboratory setting. 1 or more years of laboratory experience. Quality assurance and quality control knowledge. Inspection skills. Biology and chemistry expertise. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associates Degree in Sciences preferred. Work Environment
The facility is dedicated to extracting whey protein for animal feed and includes a microbiology and chemistry lab. The technician may be required to work every other weekend. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
