As a Production Scheduling Manager for Greenheck Group you will provide direction to and coordinate the activities of the production scheduling team to ensure manufacturing activity is performed in accordance with the company sales and operations plan and budget for their business unit. Develop and maintain the sales and operations plan to maximize plant capacity, machine efficiency, labor productivity and customer satisfaction along with meeting the team's financial objectives. What You'll Be Doing

Provide short term (up to 12 months) strategic direction within the production schedules in accordance with the overall sales and operations plan. Develop business unit sales and operations plan and fiscal year budget with Finance, General Manager, and Manager within a business unit. This plan will not only meet the business financial objectives, but customer service objectives such as keeping lead times at acceptable levels. This will highlight the need for additional staffing and reduction in staffing throughout the year. Collaborate with various internal departments within the business unit for new products, material and machine introductions to mitigate interruptions to the production plans. Responsible for developing industry leading lead time strategies for the business unit. Work with plant leadership on capacity outlook of plant and make recommendations for adjustments. Communicate production schedule strategy with business unit leadership, supply chain, and all applicable business functions. Monitor production and sales activity to pinpoint variances to budget and make recommendations regarding corrective actions and revised plans which could impact manpower/staffing needs or lead times. May supervise production scheduling team. Continuously review, recommend, and implement improvements of scheduling systems and processes. Provide directions on handling critical parts issues with schedulers, supply chain, and sales. Communicate critical parts shortages for the business unit and applicable recovery plan to sales, marketing, and appropriate business channels. Extract daily reports out of business intelligence software and communicate data with business leaders to identify, create and distribute daily status reports needed to all necessary functions. Identify the need to subtract, expand, re-organize product groupings. May be responsible for managing department expenditures. What You Should Have

6-8 years of relevant work experience in a production scheduling role required. 2-4 years of relevant work experience in a supervisory or managerial role required. Mastery in Excel required. Prior ERP experience required. SAP experience preferred. 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required. The compensation for this role includes base salary along with the opportunity to earn additional variable compensation based on achieving specific performance metrics. The starting base pay range for this position is $126,355 - $156,086 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
