The Human Capital Business Partner is a new role created as a result of our exciting growth at Welltower. This role serves as a strategic advisor and partner to designated business units, aligning business objectives with employees and leadership. This position offers expert guidance on organizational design, talent development, employee relations, and change management, and plays a critical part in driving a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership Act as a trusted advisor to leaders by providing HC guidance and data-driven insights to influence business outcomes. Partner with leadership to understand key business goals and translate them into people strategies. Talent Management & Organizational Development Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent reviews. Identify and address skills gaps, drive performance management, and support development plans. Partner with Learning & Development to implement training aligned with business needs. Employee Relations & Engagement Manage complex employee relations issues with fairness, consistency, and adherence to legal standards. Promote a positive employee experience through effective engagement initiatives. Investigate complaints and partner with legal and compliance teams as necessary. Change Management & Culture Champion change initiatives to support evolving business models. Promote and model the firm's values and inclusive culture. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and employee resource groups. HR Program Execution Execute firm-wide HR programs (e.g., performance reviews, engagement surveys, compensation reviews). Analyze HR metrics and recommend improvements based on trends and insights. Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred. 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a professional services, consulting, law, or finance environment. Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to travel approximately 30% Preferred Attributes Experience in a matrixed, client-service-driven organization. Strong coaching and facilitation skills. Data-savvy with experience using HRIS and analytics tools (e.g., Workday, UKG, Smartsheets). Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and professional ethics.
