Role Overview:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for managing large-scale projects in
Senior Living (ILF/ALF), Healthcare, and Multifamily High-Rise
developments, including both new construction and renovation. These projects may involve
masonry, hollow core, precast, and PT concrete systems .
This role focuses on
project oversight and quality assurance , not on CADD production. The engineer will be accountable for the performance and output of the assigned engineering team, ensuring alignment with company standards, practices, and client expectationswhile contributing to the profitability of each project.
Key Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (required) Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) State of Florida (required) Minimum
10 years of experience
in an AE (Architectural/Engineering) environment Extensive experience in:
Power systems design Low voltage and lighting systems , including load calculations, system sizing, and code compliance Outlet, data, and telephone layout design
Proven ability to deliver cost-effective, technically sound designs within budget and deadlines Strong collaboration skills in a multi-disciplinary team environment Comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels Able to represent the firm in design and construction meetings Experience conducting site visits to assess and evaluate electrical infrastructure Strong problem-solving skills during both design and field construction phases Commitment to quality, consistency, and excellence in service delivery Experience in
Commercial, Senior Living, ILF/ALF, and High-Rise
projectsboth new construction and renovations
Software Proficiency: Autodesk AutoCAD 2020 Autodesk Revit 2020 Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
