Employment Specialist
Job Category: Frontline Direct Service Part-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Summary of the position: Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. embraces the principles of self-determination and positive approaches in our Developmental Disability Programs. The Employment Specialist will plan, develop, and implement employment-related services and life skills trainings to support individuals in achieving their goals. Hourly Rate: $30 per hour billable and $16 per hour non-billable Qualifications/Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required and one year of paid or volunteer experience working with young adults and/or adults or College degree with appropriate level of relevant community-based social service experience is preferred At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic computer knowledge Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance are required.
