A commercial print and sign manufacturer is looking for a creative mind to round out our Pre-Press Graphic Design Department. Successful candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment with the ability to learn the ins and outs of prepress production. Prepress experience is helpful, but willing to train.
Responsibilities
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy with multiple projects and within deadlines. •Excellent organizational skills and ability to pay attention to detail. •Ability to handle repetitive workflow tasks efficiently. •Adjust files to match customer specifications for size, content, and quality. •Rebuilding, adjusting, and correcting design files based on job specifications, estimate details, and established procedures and practices. •Typical workflow is 90% production (prepress/fix files) with 10% design. Design won't be your daily focus.
Qualifications
•A comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat). We are a PC/Windows-based company. •Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. •Strong creative flair with an eye for detail. •Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work with multiple projects and perform within deadlines. •Excellent verbal and written communication. •Portfolio requested (digital link). •Be dependable and have the ability and willingness to learn from mistakes. •Self-starter with a great attitude towards learning or building upon current skillset. •Previous commercial print and/or sign experience is a plus.
