Electrical Technician
This is a hands-on job, which includes both mechanical and electrical skills. As the Electrical Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts, such as control panels, motors, hydraulic pneumatic, be adept at installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC and/or computer-controlled production equipment and controls to include Modicon and Allen Bradley equipment. Required Skills/Abilities: Must be able to read prints, diagrams, schematics, programs, and operating instructions and have a record of dependability and outstanding job attendance Must be able to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of industrial equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors Troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing electrical equipment. Qualifications: Associates degree in electrical technology or comparable degree from an accredited school or college Experience with PLC (Allen Bradley) and/or computer-controlled production equipment a plus 2-5 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience Must be able to read and understand complex program and equipment manuals with a moderate degree of comprehension and accuracy Possess experience in AC/DC motor control.
