Hotel Meeting Room Setup
The purpose of the position is to establish, maintain, and update the hotel meeting rooms in accordance with the sales contract and company standards. Responsibilities
Ensure the cleanliness of banquet and meeting rooms. Ensure that all banquet and meeting rooms are properly configured in a timely manner, so that banquet service staff can prepare for functions. Assist banquet employees during functions. Responsible for putting everything in its place after the event is completed. Ensure that all rooms have water. Qualifications
Education/Formal Training No formal education required. Experience Previous experience in the banquet area is desirable. Knowledge/Skills Minimal literacy required; can use alternative training tools. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Ability to communicate with customers, other associates, and supervisor. Ability to meet appearance standards. Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds. Mobility: ability to reach all areas of responsibility which includes: shelves, windows, ledges, pipes, under and around furniture. Standing: standing and/or walking continuously to accomplish all that is required for the position. Climbing stairs - approximately 40 steps 15% of 40 weekly hours. Driving not required. Work Environment Within 80% of 8 hours. Salary
