Logistics Team Lead
Thales is looking for a Logistics Team Lead, who will support the industrial department by overseeing inbound, outbound, and warehouse for all materials associated with the domestic and international market footprint of our local business. In this position, you will lead logistics and warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials across domestic and international channels. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with project and production teams, manage shipping schedules, resolve issues, and help define key performance metrics that support the business's operational goals. This role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities shift quickly to meet customer and production needs. Key Areas of Responsibility
Lead and coordinate the logistic process for all materials and subsidizes to multiple cross-functional delivery projects across our organization with understanding of revenue goals. Lead logistic activities and warehouse for inventory parts, including pulling, issuing, delivery, receiving, and shipping. Assist in the stock management within the organization, promoting processes to control, manage, and optimize business stock, with dedicated metrics and KPIs. Coordinate the planning, organization, and execution of the shipping and transportation of goods for our entity. Maintain operational plans to support customer shipments and production needs (will involve working out of ordinary time shift if need be). Plans, executes, and monitors inbound and outgoing deliveries, selecting carriers, researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers. Assist with directing, optimizing, and coordinating the full order cycle, resolve any arising problems or complaints and contribute in troubleshooting and root cause analysis, providing logistic support to bid phase anticipating best solutions and associated costs for the future business. Contribute and support with the defining, managing, and monitoring of KPIs for logistic flow and warehouse keeping for the local driven business. Responsible for training team members, as needed, on warehouse processes such as receiving, shipping, inventory management, and parts pulling. Maintain and promote a safe work environment for all employees. Minimum Qualifications
Certification/Associates Degree required with 6 months of relevant work experience or 2 years of related work experience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing environment for electronic hard goods, or warehousing. Proven knowledge of inventory and computer inventory management systems and experience in being proactive, well-organized, and capable of efficiently prioritizing tasks. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook. Experience with HazMat shipping and WAWF, AES Direct, UPS/FedEx software's. Ability to manage flexible workloads and work effectively under time constraints. Must be a US Person as defined in applicable law. Special Position Requirements
Schedule: 9/80 Schedule (9 Hours Monday-Thursday; 8 Hours Every Other Friday) Core work hours between 7:00am -3:30pm or 5/40 Schedule available. First Shift, Flexible early Start times possible. Physical Environment: Work typically includes operations in the facility stockroom and warehouse areas. Also periodically will be required to work in manufacturing and in the loading dock area. Travel: Possible domestic travel, less than 3% per year. Must be willing to travel locally to offsite warehouse.
