Low Voltage Systems Specialist
to join their organization.
About the Role
As a
Low Voltage Systems Specialist , you will play a key role in developing and preparing takeoffs for large-scale low voltage system bids. Your expertise will ensure accurate
bill of materials and labor estimates , directly supporting the estimating team.
Key Responsibilities Develop and document
bill of materials
that align with design-build and design-assist project requirements. Collaborate with
manufacturing system representatives
to identify cost-effective and high-performing solutions for
Value Engineering . Participate in
job start-up meetings
to review system specifications, product selections, and installation processes. Build and maintain
strong relationships
with internal teams and external partners at all levels.
Qualifications Strong understanding of
ANSI, EIA, TIA, and BiCSi guidelines
for low voltage systems. Expertise in
low voltage products , including:
Access Control Video Management Intrusion Detection Public Address and Intercom Systems Nurse Call Systems Audio-Visual Solutions DAS and BDA (Cell Amplification) IP-Based Network Electronics
General understanding of
construction project cycles
and how low voltage systems integrate. Strong proficiency in
MS Excel and Bluebeam .
