Job Description
Accounting & Settlement Specialist responsibilities include accounts receivables, aging management, maintenance, and reconciliation for our client funding. Our Accounting & Settlement Specialist would work with internal teams, vendors and directly with clients to ensure successful delivery of funds and reconciliation of the deposits that we are making.
What You'll Do (Functions & Responsibilities) Operate in our payments division as the lead point of contact for accounting and funding related activities Audit daily funding events to make sure reconciliation is complete Work with clients & team members to report on funding balances and any discrepancies Manage reporting for settlement process Manage billing across multiple brands in the payments division Work with our corporate accounting department to aid in setting up new clients for billing Manage client aging and outreach efforts Audit and maintain vendor billing Monthly management of partner commissions Work as an individual or as a team to complete projects
Qualifications
What We're Looking For (Minimum qualifications) Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook/Teams, SharePoint), Adobe Acrobat and Asana. Effectively able to balance multiple projects of various levels of complexity and priorities with many tasks and varying number of resources. Strong reconciliation/ settlement experience with complex account structures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of organization, banks and vendors. Adaptability and problem-solving skills to aid in managing responsibilities. Strong attention to details and deadlines
Requirements 3+ years' experience in an accounting role Experience working in FinTech industry is preferred College degree preferred
