Job Description
JMA Solutions has a full-time opportunity available for a Senior II System Security/Information Assurance Analyst supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The incumbent must provide NAS systems security engineering under Engineering Services (ES) and IT systems security in compliance with NIST standards under Computer Systems Development (CSD) and Computer Systems Support (CSS).
This position is part of a proposal we are sourcing and is ONSITE at one of the following locations: Washington, D.C. Oklahoma City, OK Anchorage, AK and Egg Harbor Township, NJ

Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Lead security engineering efforts to ensure compliance with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other federal security mandates.
- Oversee information assurance functions , including security assessments, risk analysis, and mitigation planning.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and compliance strategies.
- Provide guidance on security control design, implementation, and validation for NAS systems.
- Conduct security audits and risk assessments to proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, engineers, and system developers to integrate security best practices.
- Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of NIST RMF and cybersecurity best practices.
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with senior leadership.
Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or other cybersecurity-related certifications (preferred).
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in system security, information assurance, or cybersecurity.
SALARY: $122,000 - $132,000 depending on level of experience and education. JMA offers a full benefits package with vision, health, dental and life insurance as well as a 401k match.
