Job Title: Maintenance Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated 1st shift Maintenance Technician responsible for mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on injection moulding equipment, repeat punch presses, repeat tie string machines, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, clutches, bearings, gears, and more. A basic understanding of electrical systems is required, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot up to 480v 3-phase being an advantage. The role may also involve facility maintenance, such as opening facility gates/doors, turning on equipment, and occasionally performing minimal snow removal.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on various equipment including injection moulding machines, punch presses, and tie string machines.
Conduct maintenance and repairs on hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, clutches, bearings, and gears.
Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs, understanding the importance of safety protocols such as Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).
Open facility gates/doors and turn on equipment at the start of the day.
Occasionally engage in minimal snow removal when necessary.
Essential Skills
1+ years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience with a focus on hydraulics, motors, clutches, and flywheels.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics.
Basic electrical understanding and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret a tape measure accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with electrical troubleshooting up to 480v 3-phase.
Ability to read and interpret schematics.
Experience with injection moulding.
Knowledge of tool and die.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
