About this Role
Our ideal Assembler at Ampacity should have a minimum of 6 - 12 months in solar, construction, landscaping, or other related work experience. The Assembler must possess a strong mechanical aptitude with an ability to understand and follow direction. Must be able to work proficiently with hand tools and read a tape measure. You will clearly demonstrate daily tasks that are repetitive in nature and require strong attention to detail. This work is physically demanding in nature (100% outdoors) and requires constant lifting of 30 – 50 pounds, unassisted, and up to 75 pounds assisted . Your working schedule will be 8 – 10 hours a day and 5 – 6 days a week (weather Permitting).
This is a remote position that requires regular travel to client/project sites.Pay Range:$19-$22 per hour
What You'll Do
Moving and staging materials
Loading and unloading materials
Assisting heavy equipment operators with layout
Assembling of solar array tracking assembly
Assembling of gear rack components
Ability to follow directions
Adhering to company safety procedures
Mounting motor assembly
Solar module staging
Installation of solar modules
Maintaining a clean and safe worksite
What You'll Bring
Willing and able to travel 75% - 100% of the time
Comply with drug screening guidelines
Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire
Provide proof of employment eligibility to work in the US
Typical Work Environment
Active solar construction sites with heavy machinery, power tools, and construction equipment in operation.
100% outdoor work environment subject to extreme weather conditions including snow and high heat, with exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and uneven terrain.
Work at various heights requiring fall protection equipment.
Position may require unexpected travel and relocation to project sites with short notice.
Physical Expectations
This work is physically demanding in nature and requires constant lifting of 30 – 50 pounds, unassisted, with lifts of 50+ pounds requiring assistance .
Working schedule will be 8 – 10 hours a day and 5 – 6 days a week (weather permitting ).
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and crawl for extended periods while operating tools and equipment safely.
Must be able to participate in required training hours as assigned.

Compensation Range
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $19.00/Yr. - USD $22.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
