Fort Wayne, Indiana.

With a brand-new hospital opening in early 2027, we are looking for passionate and skilled professionals to join us as we prepare to launch this exciting new chapter in patient care. Job Overview: 100% clinical, general hematology/oncology. Will include majority inpatient work, with opportunity for outpatient work at an infusion center in Fort Wayne. 4–5-day work week, no weekends (40 hours per week). Call schedule is TBD. Position Responsibilities: Provide independent judgement in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving the goals of the patient care plan. Oversee the interdisciplinary team and provide medical educational and multidisciplinary team coordination services. Qualifications: BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology Obtain IN license MD, DO or equivalent education Compensation Details: We offer a competitive compensation package with wRVU production incentive. While specific details of the hospital are still being finalized, we are looking for a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist to help shape the future of healthcare in Fort Wayne. Currently, IU Health operates four primary care clinics, two urgent cares, and a radiology center in the Fort Wayne area.
