Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota Job Description: In collaboration with Avera Heart Hospital, North Central Heart Institute seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Electrophysiologist. Join our team of 4 electrophysiologists in a state-of-the-art environment, providing cutting-edge electrophysiology care to patients across the region The ideal candidate should be well versed with both basic and advanced EP procedures and device implantations. Experience with epicardial VT ablations and LA appendage exclusion devices is welcome. The Electrophysiologists provide consultative services at Avera McKennan Hospital but procedures and inpatient and outpatient services are provided at Avera Heart Hospital, and North Central Heart Institute. As a vital multidisciplinary team member, you will have access to the latest technology, 2 state-of-the art electrophysiology labs, a device follow-up clinic, 5 cath labs, advanced cardiac imaging services and a robust referral network. Responsibilities: Perform a full spectrum of electrophysiology services, including both outpatient and inpatient services, Perform ablations utilizing RF, Cryo or Pulsed Field Ablation systems. Provide daily inpatient services at Avera McKennan and Avera Heart Hospital on a rotating basis. Collaborate with cardiovascular team, including interventional/structural, heart failure, advanced cardiac imaging cardiologists, cardiac and vascular surgeons and advanced practice providers. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs. Support outreach efforts to expand vascular services within the region. Contribute to the education and mentoring of medical students, residents, and other clinical staff as applicable. Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiology and Electrophysiology Fellowship. Board-certified or Board-eligible in Electrophysiology. Eligibility for medical licensure in South Dakota. Strong commitment to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
