Position Details Job Title: Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon – Loyola Medicine Position Number: [Not specified] Job Category: SSOM Clinical Faculty Job Type: Full-Time FLSA Status: Exempt Campus: Maywood-Health Sciences Campus Department Name: SURGERY Duties and Responsibilities: The Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery at Loyola University Health System has an immediate opening for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Plastic Reconstructive surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level with expertise in microsurgery with an emphasis on breast, lower extremity, and lymphedema reconstruction. Join a growing faculty and a collaborative working environment. A microsurgical fellowship is preferred. The preferred candidate will be active academically and have the opportunity to pursue clinical research interests. The Division has a main clinical base at Loyola University Medical Center, with Gottlieb Memorial Hospital and the Hines VA Hospital also attended by the group. Loyola Medicine is a quaternary care system based in the western suburbs of Chicago that includes Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) in Maywood, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital (GMH) in Melrose Park, MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn and convenient outpatient locations offering primary and specialty care services from 1,772 physicians throughout Cook, Will and DuPage counties.
