to join our busy Ophthalmology practice in Champaign, Illinois. Opportunity Details
Flexible employment status; candidates interested in part-time or full-time positions are welcome to apply Seeking a BC/BE Vitreoretinal surgeon to provide high-quality and compassionate retinal care in Champaign, Illinois The ideal candidate is personable, a team player with strong medical and surgical skills, motivated to perform a high volume of Vitreoretinal surgeries Join a collegial environment with mentorship and support for your professional development. Our current team includes 6 Ophthalmologists, 5 Optometrists, 1 Low Vision specialist, 5 ABOC Opticians, and a dedicated Eye EMR support team. Sub-specialties include Vitreoretinal Surgery, Medical Retina, Cornea, Pediatric Ophthalmology, and Neuro-Ophthalmology Busy, full-volume practice with a strong referral base Two-year guaranteed base salary Call responsibility: 1:5 Large optometric referral network Clinical research department with an embedded clinical studies coordinator State-of-the-art facility with advanced equipment including Zeiss IOLmaster700, Heidelberg OCTs, Optos Silverstone, and more Opportunity for academic and research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine Comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/life insurance, retirement plans, CME allowance, paid malpractice, and relocation assistance About Our Community Champaign-Urbana is a culturally rich, centrally located community with excellent transportation, schools, and housing.
